Waiting for the workshop to begin…
…if I only knew who made the visit!
Today i brought home one of the two armchairs I bought a couple of weeks ago. It’s reupholstered and painted with Annie Sloan Chalkpaint. My, oh my, how big it is! I didn’t imagine it would be so big compared to the other dining chairs!
One more to do
Before being reupholstered and painted
…today at my workshop. It’s nice when old – and new – friends drop by. Anci – who is a master of painting with chalk paint – took this photo of me when I’m painting one of the two armchairs I bought the other day.
Painting with Annie Sloan Chalk paint “Old White”. I will upholster the chair when I’m done painting.
Yesterday I went with Chalkpaint friends to Stola Mansion. The excursion was organised by Sarah at http://www.storegardencountryliving.com
In a few hours a French student arrives to stay with us for 5 months. She’s going to study at the University of Boras. I hope she will like the room I have prepared for her. I have painted the iron bed, the desk, yes almost everything in the room with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Some decoupage and upholstery have I done, too.
Today I found a lamp I had completely forgotten in our outhouse. Welcome back into the house.
Chalk paint and decoupage.
The oak desk is painted with Old White – Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The chair as well is painted with chalk paint, and the frame, too.
This iron bed was black before.
The lamp was all brass before painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint. The armchair was reupholstered by me this summer. Some decoupage with napkins on top of the drawer.
I just upholstered these four lovely chippendale chairs and a armchair. Painted with Annie Sloan Chalkpaint.
Today I bought this fabric – 40% off.
I think I will upholster an Emma chair with it…
But one day I hope to be able to make something similar to this #myloveatfirstsightarmchair
With these fabrics….and some more.(
…just one or two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
