In a few hours a French student arrives to stay with us for 5 months. She’s going to study at the University of Boras. I hope she will like the room I have prepared for her. I have painted the iron bed, the desk, yes almost everything in the room with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Some decoupage and upholstery have I done, too.

Today I found a lamp I had completely forgotten in our outhouse. Welcome back into the house.

Chalk paint and decoupage.

The oak desk is painted with Old White – Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The chair as well is painted with chalk paint, and the frame, too.

This iron bed was black before.

The lamp was all brass before painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint. The armchair was reupholstered by me this summer.  Some decoupage with napkins on top of the drawer.
