The seat is off – but I’m going to reuse it, because it’s looking ok due to my teacher Sofia.

I know – it’s a little bit too narrow, but otherwise it would have been too big gaps. 😉

Building it up again.

I know – it’s a little too much, but I love it!

The “classroom”.

Today was the first time this year at the upholstery course. It’s good to see old friends  – and a new one. I’ve started to work on two small pieces of chairs. They are quite old – at least 100 years old – and have a lot of carvings on their frames. But, even though they are antique, it’s not going to stop me. I will varnish them first and then spray them with a coat or two with silver paint. Rub them off a bit so they’ll look old and worn (!!) and then put the fabric on. The seats of course being reupholstered.
