Yes, I think I’ll use this cheetah fabric.

1615131_10152305581681810_1296642981_nI brought my old chairs to class again. I had planned to work on them at home – but I didn’t seem to find time. Early in the morning, a couple of hours before I had to leave and go to Gothenburg, I took the chairs out into the garden. I spray painted them with metallic silver paint.

I let them dry in the early morning sun and then put them in the car.

The under fabric – which we in Sweden call domestik – is on.

Before I do the final cutting – I try it on some “left overs”.

It’s not easy to work with a lapdog!

My Cheetah is finished – notice the head – and is now waiting for its twin.

Instead of Upholstery Course – Wood Craft for Terrified

Standard

Last weekend I experienced a course in as the title says – Wood craft for terrified. Well, actually I don’t feel that terrified or what ever you want to call it, I feel quite confident – though not skilled – being around these big machines. As long as I get a good explanation how to use them, that is. This course took place in beautiful surroundings quite near the second biggest city in Sweden – Gothenburg. Click here if you want to know more.

Here are some photos from the course and I won’t tell you which one of the objects is mine, since it’s going to be a surprise for some one. 😉

I just found a film clip I made last summer of one of my border collies. It has nothing to do with upholstery – but I just wanted to share this clip with my “crazy for balls – dog”.
