The staircase

For years I’ve been working on this staircase once in a while. It’s been my bad conscience for so long and I always apologise for how it looks when someone visits us. Today when a friend, who works with commercials, saw the staircase, she said it was the most beautiful she has ever seen. Hard to believe, but if more people say it is beautiful (which they actually do) I might believe them. So perhaps I won’t paint the staircase after all.

The armchair is made of old jackets and clothes.

My daughter and I spent 24 hours in Amsterdam. We stayed at a rather cool hotel,The Exchange, famous for its unique rooms that are decorated by fashion design students. We also visited Hôtel Droog, whose name first made me think of something else, but it was so amazing and inspiring.

We have a really nice interior design shop just 50 meters from our house. They have so many beautiful things to sell. The name of the shop is Evys Änglar (Evy’s angels)
